Billing

Cancelling and refunds.

Cancellation is one click in the customer portal. Your published animations keep running. Refunds are available within 14 days of purchase. The full policy below.

How to cancel

Cancellation goes through the Lemon Squeezy customer portal. Find the link in your dashboard or in any billing email from us.

  • Open the customer portal.
  • Click Cancel subscription.
  • Confirm.

Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You keep editor access and full functionality through that date.

What happens to your animations

The flow after cancellation:

  • Until the end of your billing period: nothing changes. Editor works normally, saves publish to your visitors.
  • After your billing period ends: you can no longer save new changes from the editor. Your already-published animations keep running on your visitors’ pages.
  • A small “Animated by Glopzi” badge appears on the page where your animations run. Reactivating removes it on the next save.
  • Your configuration is preserved for at least 90 days after cancellation, longer in most cases. Reactivate within that window and your work picks up where you left off.

Tip

We don’t aggressively delete user data after cancellation. The risk of accidentally losing your work is low. If you’re cancelling and want us to keep your config indefinitely, just let us know via the contact page.

The save-gate promise

The reason your published animations keep running after cancellation is the save-gate model. We treat the right to ship new work and the right for your already-shipped work to keep running as two different things.

When you stop paying, we stop letting you save new changes. We don’t silently disable work you paid to ship. The watermark is the only visible signal to your visitors that the subscription is inactive; the animations themselves continue to run.

The exception: if you have animations on a site that uses domains beyond your tier limit and you downgrade, the runtime stops loading on the domains you no longer have a seat for. This is a binding issue, not a save-gate issue. Cancel from the portal to handle it cleanly.

Refunds

We offer a 14-day refund window. Within 14 days of purchase, request a refund through the customer portal or by replying to your invoice email; we process refunds within two business days.

Outside the 14-day window:

  • Annual subscriptions: we don’t prorate refunds for the unused portion. You can cancel anytime to prevent the next renewal.
  • Monthly subscriptions: cancel anytime; you keep access through your current billing period and aren’t charged for the next.
  • Exceptional cases: if you have a refund concern outside the standard window (billing error, double charge, service outage you couldn’t use), reach us via the contact page. We’ll review on a case-by-case basis.

The full policy lives at /legal/refund.

Reactivating later

To reactivate, sign back into the dashboard and subscribe again from the pricing page. Your existing license is reused if it’s within the preservation window; otherwise, a new license is issued and you’ll need to update your WordPress plugin or domain bindings.

On reactivation, all your previously published animations are recompiled and republished automatically. The watermark is removed on the next save.
