Terms of Service

Glopzi is a visual animation editor and runtime for web pages. We provide hosted tools to design animations and a license key to deploy them on websites you own or operate.

You must be at least 18 years old and have legal authority to enter into contracts. If using Glopzi on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.

Glopzi is sold as a subscription through Lemon Squeezy, acting as our Merchant of Record. You authorize Lemon Squeezy to charge your payment method for the subscription you select. Billing cycles are monthly or annual. Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each cycle until canceled.

You may cancel at any time via the Lemon Squeezy customer portal or by reaching out through our contact page. Refund terms are described in our Refund Policy.

Subject to your active subscription, Glopzi grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service and deploy generated animations on the websites you own or operate, within the site limits of your plan (1, 10, or 100 sites).

You may not use Glopzi to create, host, or distribute content that:

• is illegal in your jurisdiction;
• promotes or incites violence, terrorism, or self-harm;
• promotes hate, harassment, or discrimination against any group based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, or disability;
• sexually exploits or endangers minors;
• infringes copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights;
• deceives end users through impersonation, phishing, or malware;
• is designed to evade Glopzi’s technical controls, including license validation.

You also may not reverse engineer, redistribute, resell, or sub-license the Service itself. You may not engage in technical abuse, including but not limited to: excessive automated requests to our CDN or APIs, scraping our runtime assets, redistributing bundled assets outside the sites you own or operate, or use that materially degrades performance for other customers. We may rate limit, suspend, or terminate accounts that engage in such behavior.

You retain ownership of content you create with Glopzi. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process and deliver your content as required to operate the Service.

Glopzi owns all rights to the Service, including source code, runtime bundles, brand, and trademarks.

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, bug-free operation, or fitness for a particular purpose.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Glopzi’s total liability to you is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months prior to the claim.

We may suspend or terminate your access, with or without notice, for any violation of these Terms, including the Acceptable Use clause above. In cases of content that we reasonably determine to promote hate, violence, or the sexual exploitation of minors, termination is immediate and without refund.

For other violations, we will attempt to notify you and give you a reasonable window to remedy the issue where practical. You may terminate your own access at any time by canceling your subscription.

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated by email at least 14 days before taking effect.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Mexico. Disputes will be resolved by the courts of competent jurisdiction in Mexico.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold Glopzi harmless from any claim, demand, loss, or damage, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising out of or related to your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms. Glopzi reserves the right to assume the exclusive defense of any matter subject to indemnification, in which case you will cooperate in asserting available defenses.

We continuously improve the Service. We may add, change, or discontinue features at any time. For changes that materially reduce functionality of a paid tier, we will provide 30 days’ advance notice by email and offer affected customers the option to cancel for a prorated refund of the unused period.

You are responsible for maintaining your own records of animations, configurations, and other content you create with Glopzi. While we take reasonable measures to prevent data loss, we do not guarantee continuous availability of your content and cannot restore data lost due to cancellation, account termination, or service disruption. Export any content you consider critical.

Glopzi is not liable for any failure or delay in performance caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, war, pandemic, government action, outages of major third-party infrastructure providers, or disruptions of internet connectivity.

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Glopzi regarding the Service and supersede any prior agreements or communications. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect.

We apply reasonable industry-standard security measures to protect your account and data, including encryption in transit, authenticated API access, and isolated credentials. No service can guarantee perfect security.

In the event of a security incident or personal-data breach that affects your account, we will notify you without undue delay and in any case within 72 hours of becoming aware of it, with the information required by applicable data protection law. You are responsible for reporting suspicious activity on your account to us promptly so we can investigate.

The Service incorporates open-source software and third-party components, each governed by its own license. By using the Service, you also agree to comply with those licenses. Glopzi is not responsible for the availability, performance, or security of third-party components that we incorporate in good faith and keep up to date with reasonable diligence.

We may offer features labeled as “beta”, “preview”, or “early access”. These features are provided as-is, may change or be removed without notice, and are not covered by any uptime or functional commitments that apply to generally available features. Use of beta features is at your own risk, and bugs or instability in such features alone do not qualify as grounds for refund outside the standard 14-day window.
